In the various Penny Auction reviews I discovered that Bidding is the Main Topic of discussion mostly focussing on the Bargains the cost of bidding good deals and bad deals.

Leaving all that aside I think more emphasis should be placed on the technical aspect of online bidding.

The disruptions the glitches and the impact on the participants.

I participated in auctions that were paused , auctions where the links were not functional, auctions where my screen went blank. This is the sort of issue that I call

The GLITCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS because it is costly and makes me the loser. I paid dearly for glitches that took not only my money but a lot of my time and changed me to a BLOGGER !

Something to Squawk about !

I was very concerned about not getting what I paid for from QUIBIDS!

I was out on a limb for over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS $5000.00

What is it I had to Squack about ? Well when my account was deactivated mid auction

Unfortunately we have canceled and refunded two items that you have won in auction. The refunds have been credited to the credit card used in the purchase and we have set up BuyIt Nows for the two items so that we can ship them to you as soon as they are re-purchased. CONFUSED NOT AT ALL.... Just scared as hell !

I won 70 auctions with more than FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS spent
the final figure leaves me only a few hundred dollars short.
(Should everything be shipped accordingly)
I think I could have come out even , but there was glitches in the Quibids website, then my account was deactivated by the Quibid compliance department in the middle of an auction.
I still have to receive the winnings for 30 of the auctions
From everything I have read online , I have cause for concern.
especially when my account has already been deactivated once for no apparent reason

BIDDER BEWARE OF BIDS

IT sounds good when you are led to believe that when you bid you can always recuperate your losses by using the BUY NOW OPTION.
I ran across two auctions where this feature did not want to work

I also discovered that BIDS are all .60 cents but if you win or buy Voucher Bids they do not have monetary value in the buy now calculation so you can lose BIG TIME

My Penny Auction Bucks

Penny auctions can add up to mega bucks in a hurry
I used up over Five Thousand Dollars of bids in No Time at allI and never saved a cent regardless of what the percentage claims-

as an example I purchased a bid pack for $60.00
I won a $50.00 Dollar gift card the Final Price was $15.98

Good deal ? Not really I bid 53 times at .60 cents a bid which cost me $31.80

Now the stats show a 4% saving $2.22 but there is a $1.99 handling Fee
which makes it really a $.23 cent saving.

The problem is I invested $60 Dollars and as a winner I am getting a $50.00 Dollar gift card

I must confess I have about 20 bids left over which I will be able to use in about 14 days.

There are differnent types of bids and Voucher Bids cannot be used toward the Buy It Now option nor are they eligible for a refund as you were able to receive them at a discounted rate.
